1946

Karl Speckenheuer founded Speckenheuer Maschinen und Apparatebau GmbH in the heart of the Sauerland Region, in Eslohe.

1972

Speckenheuer continues to grow at the site in Eslohe: In 1972, the first extension to the hall and production facility for the manufacture of sprockets and gears is completed.

1989

The market situation is changing and so are customer inquiries. This resulted in the first purchase of a CNC lathe.

1995

The success of the Sauerland company continues: In the mid-nineties, the grandson of the company's founder took over management.

2003

Speckenheuer reacts flexibly to changing market requirements and invests in expanding production to include an inductive hardening system.

2004

By digitizing almost all business processes, Speckenheuer paves the way for even more efficient processes and greater speed in processing customer inquiries.

2005

Introduction of the most advanced milling technology in the company: five-axis simultaneous milling allows maximum flexibility in the production of components.

2016

100% takeover of Speckenheuer's shares by grandson and current owner Lars Olbrich.

2018

Speckenheuer goes digital: All processes and documents are now completely digital and paperless.

2023

Additional CNC lathes are put into operation, enabling orders to be processed faster and more efficiently.
