A split sprocket does away with time-consuming installation and removal work during maintenance and assembly. Each Speckenheuer sprocket can also be manufactured as a split version. The sprocket has no disadvantages compared to conventional sprockets and is bolted securely thanks to the gap-free design. This ensures a snug fit on the shaft. No complex dismantling of the shaft is necessary when overhauling the system. The sprockets can be produced with or without a dividing joint, depending on customer requirements.
